Aryan Patil

Born and raised near the Swaminarayan Temple in Savda, Maharashtra, is a dedicated sculptor whose work is deeply rooted in India’s rich artistic heritage. He earned his BVA in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, where he is currently pursuing his master’s degree.

His deep fascination with temple architecture informs his artistic vision, allowing him to seamlessly blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary themes.

Patil’s sculptures draw inspiration from the intricate carvings of Indian temples, reinterpreting them to address modern social issues. His work explores the portrayal of marginalized figures in historical art, shedding light on themes of labor rights and social inequality. By juxtaposing traditional motifs with present-day struggles, his pieces create a compelling dialogue between the past and the present. Through his practice, he not only preserves the essence of ancient artistry but also amplifies voices that often go unheard, inviting viewers to engage with these enduring narratives
