His fascination with his immediate surroundings serves as an entry point to explore layered narratives, where ordinary objects—especially those linked to farming—take on deeper symbolic meanings. With a meticulous approach to craftsmanship and a focus on symmetrical detailing, his art echoes a time when artistic practice was a vocation driven by devotion.
Dodiya’s work seamlessly weaves together Indian miniature traditions, temple art, and contemporary themes. His compositions feature motifs drawn from his environment, such as the rhythmic patterns of peanuts, leaves, and trees, creating a visual language that connects the past with the present. By addressing themes of rural life, nature’s cycles, and agricultural struggles, he offers a perspective that
moves beyond urban modernity. His pieces are not only aesthetically rich but also deeply symbolic,
inviting viewers to appreciate both their visual beauty and the layered stories they hold.
