Krishnamurti’s artistic practice is deeply influenced by his roots in Banaras, where the spiritual and mythological landscapes serve as a constant source of inspiration. His sculptures reflect the essence of the city, capturing its cultural depth through nuanced storytelling. Drawing from the Navrasa, the nine emotions of Indian aesthetics, his work explores themes of devotion, heroism, and the transient nature of life. Through intricate forms and layered symbolism, he seeks to translate the soul of Banaras into stone, ensuring that its narratives remain etched in contemporary artistic discourse.
