
Rayana Giridhar Gowd
Is a painter whose work seamlessly blends traditional Indian techniques with contemporary artistic sensibilities. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Chama Rajendra Academy of Visual Arts, Mysore, and further honed his expertise in mural painting, fresco, and tempera at Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan.

Deeply influenced by Indian scriptures, his work employs earth pigments and gold on handmade paper, creating luminous compositions that echo classical depictions of Hindu deities—intricate, symbolic, and rich in spiritual depth.
Gowd’s art has been featured in solo and group exhibitions across India and Singapore, alongside participation in various art camps and workshops. His accolades include fellowships and awards from esteemed institutions such as the Kanoria Art Centre, Chitra Kala Parishad, and Nagarjuna University. His works are housed in prestigious collections, including the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, and the Sri Jagadish Mittal Museum, Hyderabad. Currently based in Garuvupalem, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, he continues to refine his artistic vision, preserving heritage while engaging with contemporary dialogues in Indian art
