His practice merges theoretical and conceptual assertions with personal experiences and historical narratives, bringing forth visual storytelling that is both spiritually and mentally immersive. He has exhibited
widely, with notable solo and group shows including The Red Hibiscus Trail (Taj Ambassador Hotel, 2024), The Inner Path (National Gallery of Modern Art, 2019), Monumental Terracotta (Art Centrix Space, 2018), and India Art Fair (multiple years).

Das’s artistic practice focuses on the preservation of India’s vanishing architectural and artistic traditions. His Terracotta Marvels series documents the intricate craftsmanship of West Bengal’s forgotten terracotta temples, exploring their historical and cultural significance. Through years of travel and research, he has visually archived these rare architectural treasures, emphasizing their unique iconography, from mythological epics to scenes of daily life. His work serves as a powerful reminder of the impermanence of heritage, urging recognition and conservation before these structures fade into obscurity. With a deep commitment to storytelling through photography, he continues to explore themes of history, identity, and the ephemeral nature of time.
